Memories are like stars that shine comfortingly in the darkness of grief.
Every year on the second Sunday in December, people around the world have been placing lit candles in their windows at 7 p.m. for many years. As the candles in one time zone go out, they are lit in the next, so that a chain of light encircles the entire world for 24 hours. The occasion is ‘Worldwide Candle Lighting’ – a day of remembrance for deceased children. The Museum of Sepulchral Culture invites you to a memorial service on this day. For people who are personally or professionally affected by the death of a child and for those who want to support those affected.
