The chamber music festival "Begegnungen" as guest in the Museum for Sepulchral Culture

ENCOUNTERS on very different levels: between composers, countries and epochs, but also between artists and the public.
TIANWA YANG, the top violinist of her generation, who has been living in Kassel since 2013, has put together a programme this year that not only unites top-class musicians on stage, but also presents masterpieces of chamber music – known and unknown – in four concerts of very different tunings and brings them into new contexts of meaning. The violinist captivates on the international stages with her creativity and musicality, which make every concert a unique experience. She expresses her high level of intensity together with her celebrated guests, some of whom we have already experienced in recent years and some of whom are new to the festival.

In 2019 the festival took place for the 4th time in Kassel.
