Wait a minute – ‘death’? What does it actually look like? People have always asked themselves this question, and there have been many attempts to give death a face. Death as an acting and thinking figure can relate to us and becomes more understandable and accessible. Such a ‘death’ can also be friendly, picking us up and guiding us like a good friend. As the Grim Reaper, a jackal, a warrior, an angel, a demon or a beautiful youth, ‘Death’ wanders through the history of art. What does death look like to you? Artist Aliaa Abou Khaddour invites you to a workshop! Using cardboard, fabric, paper and other materials, you can build your very own mask of death.
The workshop is free of charge and you can join in at any time.
