Hospice of the Evangelische Altenhilfe Gesundbrunnen
The Kassel Hospice is an inpatient facility for seriously ill and dying people who spend their last days or weeks of life with us. Together with their relatives, they receive palliative medical and nursing care. However, pastoral care, grief counselling and consolation also have an important place in our work. In a home environment, there is enough time and the necessary framework to say goodbye to life and not to feel alone. Grief already begins when a diagnosis is made, and it takes many conversations and opportunities to be able to say goodbye. In individual conversations and also in the bereavement coffee, the relatives have opportunities to find comfort with other affected persons. They are accompanied, even after the death of their loved one.
