Lecture and discussion with Andreas Kruse
How do we meet people who are at the end of their lives and how do we meet their personal and professional caregivers who accompany them on this last stage? Researcher Andreas Kruse shows attitudes and coping techniques on the part of seriously ill or dying people as well as care, support and environmental conditions that contribute to shaping the end of life as well as possible according to one's own ideas. It also aims to support people in developing an accepting attitude towards the finite nature of life and in clearly articulating ideas of a good life to those who care for them.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Kruse is Director of the Institute of Gerontology at Heidelberg University.
