Our library offers experts, interested parties and students no less than 55,000 books, small publications and essays and also workplaces in a quiet atmosphere. Through subject-related keywords, you can find the contributions to the sepulchral culture you are looking for quickly and specifically, even in literature from other disciplines. The numerous historical sources and funeral sermons, which are kept in the library's storeroom, should be emphasized. Approximately 50 journals are kept up to date and provide answers to questions about the sepulchral culture.
For quick and easy research, the library has a new online catalogue in which all titles from the museum's special collection and subject area can be searched for in a targeted manner. The new online catalogue is not only a valuable information pool, but also a mouthpiece for the library and our research. It provides information about new publications, additions to the holdings and special features of our archives as well as their opening hours. Neither registration nor membership is required to use the online catalogue. Our holdings are freely available to all interested parties; students, experts and laypersons are invited to use this unique collection.
We do not lend out articles, but you are welcome to order copies of articles in DIN A4 at 0.26 EUR each, plus postage.
