Members of the Working Group Cemetery and Monument e. V.
The members of the Working Group Cemetery and Monument (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Friedhof und Denkmal e. V.) are united by their interest in the diverse aspects of sepulchral culture. They are committed to the preservation and care of cultural-historical artifacts of sepulchral culture or work on new design concepts. The cultural values of the association are integrated into various professional fields, and changes are scientifically researched. All our members support the work and the aims of the association both financially and ideologically. Arbeitsgemeinschaft Friedhof und Denkmal e.V. and the Museum of Sepulchral Culture.
The Working Group Cemetery and Monument e. V. comprises over 600 members (as of 2019). Members of the Working Group Cemetery and Monument e. V. include municipalities and church congregations, professionals from the fields of gravestone design, cemetery gardening, funeral services, architecture and planning, as well as members of the nursing and helping professions, volunteers from the hospice movement, students and academics, but also interested laypersons.
Any natural or legal person with an interest in the research, preservation and development of burial and cemetery culture is invited to become a member of the Working Group Cemetery and Monument e. V.
The membership fee is 100€ or 150€ for legal entities and 50€ for students.
In the first year, starting in 2020, membership in the association is free for future applicants.

Annual Conference & General Meeting
The annual conference with a professional focus and the general meeting of the Working Group Cemetery and Monument e. V. take place in Kassel every year.
An extraordinary general meeting will be held digitally/via WebEx on November 21, 2025, due to a special occasion. The sole agenda item will be the relocation of the planned 2026 general meeting and annual conference from Berlin to Kassel.
