Suicide - Keep on Talking!
A collaboration between the Museum for Sepulchral Culture, Kassel, the Frankfurt am Main Health Department and the Frankfurt Network for Suicide Prevention (FRANS)
Following the success of the exhibition “Suicide – Let’s talk about it!”Following the exhibition, which was shown at the Museum of Sepulchral Culture in 2021/2022, it has finally been possible to make parts of the exhibition accessible to the public again.
Thanks to the Friends of the Museum for Sepulchral Culture, several works by contemporary artists were acquired as part of the previous exhibition, filling the gap in the museum's collection concerning the theme of suicide. These and several other exhibits have been newly arranged for a four-week exhibition in Exhibition Hall 1A in Frankfurt am Main.
The exhibition, held around World Suicide Prevention Day, aims to facilitate and promote public discourse on suicidality through various artistic media. It presents information, suggestions, challenges, and opportunities that encourage reflection on society's and individuals' approaches to the topic of suicide.
A weekly program of events also takes place in the exhibition spaces, providing opportunities for exchange and discussion. You can find the dates here: https://frans-hilft.de/ausstellung/
