In addition to public guided tours on Wednesdays through the permanent exhibition or the current special You can also arrange individual appointments. The public tour always takes place. Participation in the public tour is free of charge. Only the museum entrance fee applies.

There you will also find guided tours of Kassel's main cemetery and the artists' necropolis, specifically adapted to different target groups. Guided tours are offered for an optimal visitor experience for groups of up to 20 people / school classes up to 25 people.
The duration is 60 or 90 minutes. The guided tour fees are in addition to entrance fees; discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.-

To offer you the opportunity to explore our permanent and special exhibitions even while the Museum of Sepulchral Culture remains closed, we are offering online tours. You book a time slot for a virtual museum tour broadcast via Cisco WebEx Meetings. We will send you a link in advance. Log in and participate from home or the classroom using your internet browser. During the tour, our staff will stream the digital content and guide you through the exhibition areas.
The digital tours last 60 minutes.

Museum shop
Even if you are not visiting the exhibition rooms, you are welcome to visit the museum shop during museum opening hours. A wide variety of goods awaits you there.
In addition to our own publications and catalogs, specialist literature, and children's books, you will find other attractive products. A themed selection of postcards and posters, selected design objects, as well as artistically designed gift items and limited editions are always available. The Museum of Sepulchral Culture is accessible to everyone. The building's open architecture and a spacious elevator to all exhibition levels facilitate barrier-free visits for all visitors. The permanent exhibition and the temporary exhibitions are accessible to wheelchair users.
Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located in the basement. One accompanying person receives free admission. Special guided tours can also be booked for blind, visually impaired, hearing impaired, or otherwise disabled visitors.
