Issue 1-2021, 66rd year

…we have been living with the existential consequences of a pandemic for a year now. Many people have already died alone, and many more will follow. Relatives are grieving and find no solace in the social interaction that a pandemic has made almost impossible. Our museum has only been able to welcome a few visitors again since March 12th this year, which has resulted in significant financial losses, among other things. We have increasingly shifted our important work in cultural education for society to the digital realm, fully aware that virtual worlds are a substitute, but cannot replace much of what is truly needed.
