Inspired by the book "Is That How It's Supposed to Be??!" by Peter Schössow, we'll be creating zines together – small, completely handmade books. Perhaps you'd like to write about your pet? Or about an animal you'd love to have as a pet?

On the last Wednesday of every month, visitors can experience the current special exhibition from the perspective of a curator. This guided tour with Tatjana Ahle-Rosental focuses on the relationship between humans and animals and how we say goodbye to each other.

Around 50 museums, galleries, and cultural institutions, spanning art and history, science and technology, literature, and music, are participating in the diverse program of Museum Night. The Museum of Sepulchral Culture is also taking part again this year, offering live music, pantomime, hands-on activities for children and adults, a temporary bar, and special tours, including the legendary midnight tour.

Doreen's grandparents make a decision: they want to die, voluntarily and together, before the final mile begins. When Doreen learns of this, she packs her belongings and leaves big-city life behind, determined to prevent her grandparents' plan. Hanna Heim reads from her debut novel, "Hofsommer" (Courtyard Summer).

Grandma's cat is incredibly old. What's rather strange, though, is that she's looked different at different times throughout her life. Is she perhaps a cat with nine lives? The cat—and of course Grandma too—was invented by the illustrator Nele Palmtag. She tells the story behind her illustrations and uses sketches and original artwork to show how such a story comes about. Afterwards, we'll make our own dream pets together to take home.

On the last Wednesday of every month, visitors can experience the current special exhibition from the perspective of a curator – this time even from the artist's perspective. Dr. Dirk Pörschmann, director of the Museum for Sepulchral Culture, will lead a discussion with Rana Matloub about her exhibition "Don't Dig Holes Next to Graves".

Rana Matloub experienced war as a child and fled another with her family. As a student, she learned through the news how her former homeland was destroyed. On the last day of her exhibition "Don't Dig Holes Next to the Graves," we will delve into the artist's world of feelings and thoughts. Afterwards, modeling clay will be available for you to shape.
