What you learn in a last aid course

About the basics of end-of-life care.

Lecture & talk  with Sabine and Susanne Weingardt, nurses, palliative care professionals, trainers and business facilitators.

An impulse for the accompaniment of caring relatives

Accompanying the dying is more or less about "being there" and the power of holding and enduring in appreciative support. It is about reaching out a helping and holding hand.
In this context, caring relatives and loved ones have an outstanding significance in accompanying a dying person. This activity usually represents an unusually high challenge.
The "Last Aid Course", which was initiated by Dr. Georg Bollig, Prof. Dr. Andreas Heller and Manuela Völkel, is intended to provide family members with the necessary skills and to encourage them in their support at the end of life.
