The Flame

The travelling exhibition "The Flame. The history of cremation and its future" deals with the development of the cremation movement in the 19th century, describes its technical conditions and ends with the alternative burials made possible by cremation in the 21st century. It thus offers an informative overview of two thousand years of burial history. But it is more than a cultural-scientific summary of a fundamental sepulchral process of change. It also provides the visitor to the exhibition with a factual and informative basis for deciding which type of burial best suits his or her personality.

The exhibition is particularly suitable for crematoria, funeral homes and cemetery porters. It consists of 17 roll-ups with text and images, which can be flexibly adapted to your premises. It can be set up quickly and easily anywhere and does not require any special safety precautions. The simple handling therefore also allows the exhibition to be set up for specific occasions and days. Our team will be happy to take care of delivery and set-up of the exhibition, but it can also be picked up. If you are interested, our scientific staff* will offer a supplementary lecture to the exhibition.
